NICE! I didn't see the article, but do have a 1892 year model '86 in 40-65, 'short rifle?' I think they are called, loaded with black powder and a cast lead 250gr flat nosed grease groove bullet at 1610 fps, it's one of the most fun to shoot rifles I have, iirc Bud said the little bullet had a BH of around 15, it should punch a deer pretty easy, we should all hunt deer with them this fall, then report our findings.

I just received the last Rifle issue. Why do some people get their magazines a month ahead of others?
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally
