Still alive & kicking too, Ryan.

Just said to Deb, on the weekend, that I am feeling very blessed to be so rural.

Even more than normal !

Hope everyone else is doing OK too ?

As it turns out, my normal daily routine matches the guidlines for social distancing.

Proud to say I haven't purchased anything out of the ordinary, no stockpiling os supplies.... Just regular, regular....

Same with us Dave, I just wish the walleyes were biting. Ice is out and the boat is ready to go (we're keeping it) so I'd love to take the kids out and catch some fish. I might need to make a run to the river here soon......

You fellas fishing up there on the hard water, looks like you're having a blast. Fishing side by each, and then you're pull'n down those fancy IPA's. Too many of those burgers and your head won't feel so good the next day,

Go have so fun, then have some more.

we took the boat out last week, no fishes to be caught but weather was nice. we're at 9" of snow and 20 degrees now so I guess we'll wait on going out again, although I've heard the smallies are biting like crazy.

Friday we had 20" ice, Sunday 17", Monday 15".

Yesterday was -16* + 30mph west to north-west wind.

If Doug hadn't "pushed" me, I might have stayed home !!

wink

Saw 4 open spots on the way home yesterday afternoon, too ! 1 was shore to shore, in a narrow arm.

Pucker factor +100.

What are ya gettin Jeff? got a pic?

I've been really wanting to replace the floor in my boat along with the seats/pedestals. I have the time now (kind of, still homeschooling 3-4 kids a day) and the stimulus would help, BUT it's looking like we're making a move to the river meaning more bills than we already have and other unexpected costs associated with it. So for the time being I have to live vicariously through everyone else smile The boat has been listing port side while underway, shifting passengers is the only way to level it out, always fun to ask someone to move seats when you're at wide open throttle smile one suspected reason is wet foam on one side (hence why I want to redo the floor/foam). trim tabs would solve it, but with the kicker on the back there's not enough room. A jacking plate would setback the motor enough to allow for the trim tabs, but even the simplest/cheapest one is $100 or more, another $3-500 for trim tabs and still not knowing the reason for it. someone else suggested the kicker might be dragging slightly. not sure it would generate the lift required for a 20 degree list like it's got. but would explain the sitting level while still or going trolling speeds. It's not a deal breaker for going out and fishing, merely an inconvenience.

this is us last year minutes before a tournament. to think we almost sold her this winter, I feel like I owe her a makeover laugh

Picking it up tomorrow Ryan. It's a 16 ft. Lund Pro Angler. No pics yet, but I'll have some tomorrow after getting it home. 40 hp Evinrude tiller, Minnkota's front and rear. My old Sylvan just got too heavy for me to handle alone, so it was time for a lighter, more "fishing friendly" boat, and I really wanted to get back in a Lund. I remember when I first moved up here, it seemed like all I saw on the lakes were those iconic red Lunds. I had one for 25 years, and now I'm back to owning one again. Pics to follow-I'll have to have someone help me post them here. Picking the boat up tomorrow at noon.

i'd just put a bigger cooler of beer to that side and call it good. a couple 30 packs and by the time your done you wont know the difference anyway. Nice boat, thinking of selling my 20ft starcraft pro elite as well.
