I haven't heard a word about how the virus is affecting the large homeless population in any of the large cities. Does anyone have any info?

I have no info on the virus affecting the homeless directly.

But homeless sightings were down 30% as there was no one to beg from. The freeway offramps in SanFrancisco were practically clear.

We were ordered Not to take any tents and to advise them to stay only one person to tent.
And don't share needles.
and be clean.

Advise only. No enforcement but for serious crimes.

I heard one of the mayors or governors say on tv yesterday that they had secured 5000 motel/hotel rooms for the homeless. I didn't hear where, but I mentioned to my wife that that was the first mention of the homeless I had heard during the pandemic.

Anybody else hear that?

Be safe my friend. I can’t imagine being your shoes. The only thing worse would be being required to arrest them all.

Such a tragic situation.

Take lots of pictures!

A buddy and me were talking about this yesterday. Tucker Carlson was running nightly clips about the homeless problem 2 months ago. Haven’t heard a word since.

Tracy - just be as careful as possible in the midst of the mess. I know that you take your responsibilities seriously and tackle whatever becomes necessary, but these days would rather you could just shelter and distance. Please give our best to your girls.

Considering the filth that most of them live in, I'm wondering if they haven't built up an immunity to stuff like this.

I would imagine that the bums have immune systems similar to residents of equatorial africa for one thing. And, they aren't famous for their globetrotting like the elites of Aspen and Ketchum.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

In Portland they're 'housing' homeless in the Convention center and other places. Seems like they're trying to create a self-solving problem.

You think Covid-19 was in their area prior to this outbreak?

I read recently that Los Angeles (?) was going to move homeless inside. Virus Transmission was expected to be 19X higher than outside.

Several shelters in lockdown in Seattle due to possible exposure. Surprised I haven't heard about any deaths.

I share the thoughts completely. Stay safe, Ranger Green.

Ranger Green,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the others on the front lines in this most bizarre time.

Stay safe my Friend!

Gee, the city of Spokane is going to house the homeless in the downtown library.
