I need a good weed sprayer.. the crap from tractor supply and wall mart are just junk.. they put out a sprinkle stream nothing useable.. so who sells possibly a 3 to 5 gallon one that will actually spray. I looked on line at the electric ones but don't know what is good... please help me find a decent one that will actually spray weed killer... thanks

Yep. Solo has held up well for me. I make sure I clean them out well after using.

I have a Solo brand backpack sprayer, and I have been really pleased with it.

The backpack sprayer from harbor freight has worked better and held up longer than any that I’ve had previously.
I didn’t think it would last but it has.

Never had issues with any, but a thorough post use cleaning is an absolute must.

I didn’t think it would last but it has. Same here. I always figured to get one season from a sprayer. I bought the four gallon back pack type. I had that one a couple years now.

I’ve used Solo’s for years and wouldn’t buy another for a backpack type sprayer. About the only thing that will kill them is leaving some water in them and having it freeze.

So what's the problem? Leaking air around the pump? No air or spray going through the hand piece? Pump no holding pressure?

Only issue I’ve ever had was foreign material plugging up the outlet.

You can get a Hudson or Chapin professional or go to R&D Sprayers and get a real setup. CO2 charged 3 gal container and boom if your choice, only takes money.

Jacto makes a really nice unit. It’ll run you $125-$150, though. https://www.forestry-suppliers.com/product_pages/products.php?mi=29421&itemnum=13802&redir=YThe Harbor freight unit actually works pretty well, esp on sale for $19. It doesn’t like diesel, though. I’ve actually been using the el cheapo $6 specials quite a bit, you just need to spend the money on a good wand and sprayer tip (Conejet 5500 tips are nice, esp the brass ones). When the diesel wears out the pumping device, I just toss the unit, and put my wand on another one. Wish I could find an electric unit that pressurizes the tank, and doesn’t have a pump that comes into contact with the contents. Diesel/Remedy mix is hell on pumps..

If you are gonna go spray dandelions in you driveway in town, about anything will work. But OP asked for a good sprayer.

If you got a way to haul it. Tank sprayer is the way to go.
Northern Tool has sone good ones. 10. 15. Gal.
Co-op / feed store will also.
If you have much to spray, 1 gal at a time is a pain.
If you go that route, power it with a separate deep cycle battery.
Axe me how i know.

Never had issues with any, but a thorough post use cleaning is an absolute must. This, in spades. Triple rinse the tubing.

Harbor Freight. Not a very comfortable rig but for $20.00 it works great.

I run a commercial spray business and can't recommend these highly enough. https://my4sons.comI change out the spray gun to a Teejet setup, but that is the only mod I do. I'll get 6 acres out of a single battery charge. Replacement pumps are $17 and batteries $12 if anything breaks fyi (nothing has). If out of your budget, look at the Stihl branded sprayer with the brass pump.
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

You have to clean the crud out of the tip and wand once in a while.
And don’t lay the plunger down in the grass or dirt while refilling.
