S&W 915 and Star Firestar. Still great little machines, remarkably accurate and perfectly reliable.

915 is basically a 5904 with thinner finish and pre-Novak sights. I'd still be carrying mine if I could hang a light on it.

Cheaper design, lighter materials, not better IMO.

915 was never rated for +P or +P+, IIRC. Other Smiths of the era, were.

I’ve always enjoyed Sig DA/SA P-series guns. People say DA/SA is obsolete and difficult to learn. Don’t tell my P226 or P229 that!
