Can't speak for anyone else, But I'd rather have a 358 that a 375.

375 really nothing more than a reincarnated 38-55

Roy, What ever happened to that one you got a while ago that somebody threw out of an airplane?

We (I) need an update.

I got it repaired before I moved and still have it.

Not the best time to be spending thousands of dollars on rifles with the communists tanking the economy to steal the election from Trump.

I would usually agree, my problem is I have a habit of finding too many. Can't buy em all.

I have been in this shop a couple times as it is only about a half hour drive or so from me. Beautiful shop and incredible inventory. And they are "proud" with all their prices, even on the pretty common stuff. But they do have alot that you don't see every day.

I know the one you speak of. It has 3 extra holes on the left side for a scope mount. Since all R's were factory drilled for standard bases, this is hard to overlook..

If it's an R it's pre-mil. Does it have one of the tang safety conversions we see occasionally on lever safety 99's?

too bad it has extra holes, I'd be a buyer if it wasn't for them.

I picked up a pretty decent one last year without the extra holes from same seller. Odd seeing another pop up. Somebody probably thinning their collection.

Now if only they'd let go of the 99R in 243.. grin
