Hello, early risers! Or early shake awakes if you live in Idaho.
There will be no juvenile prank threads from me; I've always hated pranks, which I view as Sadism Lite. Nobody pranks anyone they really like; it reveals a secret distaste for them. Prankers are thus liars and hypocrites, not friends. Rant over.
It's Air Force pension deposit day, we go see our tax guy today (I think - it might be awkward under this virus thing) and Wednesday is our maid day. Also, I change Harry's shave blades on the first and weigh myself. So it's QUITE a busy day! Well, compared to my usual "got nothing" kind of day, anyway. Hey, when you're retired, you look forward to the small things. Okay...the microscopic things.
Oh, and it's cloudy, 40 degrees now and a small chance of a shower later on.

Good news in Denver. Scheduled street sweeping starts, but due to the lock-down, you won't get a citation for parking in the way of the sweepers. For now anyway.

Good morning ! Got up about 6:30. 34 degrees. Calm. Partly cloudy........ Nothing on the schedule today. Checked my mouse trap right behind the garage, Got another one last night. Never seem to get mice in the garage anymore since I put the trap behind the garage. Between Covid 19 cabin fever and being retired; trapping mice seems to be getting to be one of the more exciting things around here. Already did more than enough reloading and gun cleaning. Real excitement is walking the woods checking trail cams, (good way to avoid people). Friend of mine has a small range out back suitable for .22's and tomorrow when I go over there to check the trail cams out behind his place I'm gonna bring a couple 22's and do some plinking. That'll be the most excitement in weeks. Meanwhile maybe I'll have another coffee. Happy April !

I'm just into coffee #2. I will soon head out to Total Wine for some goods. Then out to the garage to pull the valve covers on my Dart so I can install baffles. Hopefully that goes well as I plan on making a pot of chili verde that will need an early afternoon start. Funny, my pension deposits arrive from Fidelity on the 20th of each month. A clear and calm day with some rain coming in a day or two.
Conduct is the best proof of character.
