I can tell ya this: if you run out of TP, neither duct tape nor WD-40 fixes the problem.

Words of wisdom for the day Rock? You folks will have to coffee without me, water, and my pills, off for a blood thing. Walk straight into a nest of vampires. If it helps to keep me alive for a while it's alight.

You have to use them both, and in the right order.

You forgot bailing wire, city boy.

A handfull of Grass would likely do the trick..I believe before the invention of TP it had been used to some effect .

But that does not come in a package from a store..

You've got to spray the duct CV tape with WD-40.

Works really slick.

Good morning Rocky, Wabi & all. Coffee is on here. Old socks, hankies or the tail of an old shirt have worked with great success. Wabi, don't let the vampires take too much. A little garlic in the pocket might be useful.

There are 2 rules to success:

1. Never tell everything that you know.

At what volume and velocity(pressure) are you using the WD-40?

Old acquaintance always wore two pairs of socks just in case he got caught at the far end of the farm. smile

Use the WD40 before you do the business. It won't stick that way.

PAM cooking spray is a viable alternative as well.

There are plenty of udder/teat wipes available.

I like the Kleen Test Products Milk Check wipes, 700 for $29. You can't flush them, but you can buy a 5-gallon bucket for under $5. If they work on $hit splattered udders and teats, they should work well for anyone who frequents this font of enlightenment.

Duct tape works for seed ticks and beggar lice, hell even warts.

I have a pile of old socks, shirts and underwear in the garage that will do, if needed.

The best farmer substitute is a corn cob. There are a couple more f drawbacks. You can not always tell with a red cob if you are clean. They are NOT flushable.
