How in heck did they miss this wuhan virus threat? It really appears to be biological terrorism. I guess the deep state had other priorities.

Just like 9/11 again.....

It's not. Just bad luck in a place with bad government.....or should I say worse than average government.

How much do we spend on the CIA, DIA, FBI, NSA....every year?

They all have many assists in China

Seems again like a total clusterfluk or intentional malfeasance or maybe just bored again lol

They missed it because generally the gubmint is incompetent. Its got nothing to do with deep state. CDC and WHO completely whiffed on this.

As someone who's spent literally YEARS in a SCIF and actually worked at a 3 letter intelligence agency - I think blanket assertions that intel agencies crapped the bed are a little overdone.

Lets not forget - other countries actually HIDE things as well.

So, what if they knew for sure it would get here? What would be the prevention? Close off travel sooner from China? So, people would detour in Europe and still get here before the symptoms hit.
Send people there to contain it? Again, pointless.
Nuke Wuhan and fry the virus and several million? Probably not.
Completely close the borders to everyone. US citizens could reenter directly to a remote quarantine designated area for 3 weeks. Considering where we are today, that would have been the best approach.

First of all, it probably started in November, way before they sent official notification.

You cant even get the fugging Highway Patrol to shut down a two lane with 1.5 lanes covered in dead bodies and wounded kittens.

I thought their job was to find hidden things, possible threats in adversary nations? No good HUMINT or SIGINT in China now?

My last year in the military I worked at NSA in a SCIF and the following 27 years had interaction with intel communities in the US and overseas. I ve seen and worked with the databases , assets they can all access now. ( Im sure I was exposed to a small portion of them based on need to know) I had just a TS SCI clearance so didn't even begin to see the super secret really high tech stuff. And now with cell phones, greatly increased computer capacity any govt official in nation like China doesn't fart without them knowing. But Im just bored and rambling again.

The quarantine should have been implemented by end of January as well as the travel restrictions. No NYC and San Fran Chinese New Years celebratioins

I know Trump was called a racist for trying to implement travel ban in January.

Attack on whom, themselves? The Italians? Yeah, that's it. The great Chink waste a WOP campaign.

And when all of this is said and done, I hope the SEC does a full investigation and prosecutes everyone that broke insider trading laws, regardless of political party affiliation.
