Yup, but most of us here would have done the same thing not necessarily. i didn't work in college and was pretty careful with the loan $$, mostly because the bursar was on top of reminding to pay up. a lot of kids did work while in college, and they seemed pretty careful about their spending, bought a lot of cheap beer. the ones with cars, spending their money on pizza or going to clubs, had their parents doling it out not sure, but there may have been some restrictions in place at the time that the loan money had to go to the university, can't remember for sure P.S. Actually, i did have job for the last year adn a half, my very first political appointment, capitol city college, janitor at the Dem office building, took some pull to get that one

Did anyone think that maybe some parents were involved in this dumfuqkery? I can't imagine that a few 20-22 year olds went and chartered an airliner? The ones involved need to be held to account, but I don't have much sympathy. They went down there after the crisis was well known. Besides, it was Mexico...

My little brother runs a big Architect Firm downtown Austin. Luckily he can work from home. He and his family are hunkered down in their RV awaiting their new house to be completed over by Perdenalas Falls State Park. He’s got 15 acres. Said there’s plenty of deer and pigs to shoot if they run low on food. 🤠 He had to go get my two nieces out of T-Tech in Lubbock and bring them home. He said it’s bad in Lubbock. Over a 100 cases. I think he said maybe 250 cases in Austin now. If I recall right. 15 cases now in my ole hometown with a population of 120K Still safe at the Ranch for now. No cases in Stonewall County yet.
