I'm from WI - day drinking isn't a style, it's an ethnicity.

I miss my Big Breakfast at the local diner. Sure, I can cook at home. But, it’s a giant treat for me.

Wife and I going out to dinner with our adult daughter or a small group of friends. Good food, lots of laughs and a drink or two.

This, kinda...

It's more like missing coffee with all of the other bulls from the area and catching up on gossip and poking each other up til somebody's red faced and jumpy...

Not a thing... Kinda like the whole slowdown actually.

Although the constant covid talk is starting to wear.

Nothing at this point, Wabi. Life is pretty much normal in this area so far. Being rural, we mostly go and come as we please or as needed.

Hoping it lasts that way for the duration of this.

That traffic represented a strong economy, and people working, people shopping, and spending money they made.

The deserted streets and highways have a weird, not so good feeling to them.

America needs to go back to work again.

And play.

I hadn't thought about it, but you are right. Great post.
