Committed to buy a .25 Taipan Veteran off of GTA about a month ago... It was used, in damned near 100% condition, so I didn't take the full retail hit. But with the #CCPvirus, not the best timing financially.

While I've had the rifle about ten days, I finally got scope rings that are the right height for it today. Gonna get it sighted in for sure this weekend. But with an ad hoc rest the gun on a wrist that's holding a tree "that ought to be close enough" sight in - well it's gonna suck to be you if you're a varmint this afternoon. It shoots very nicely offhand.

Time to offload (pun not fully intended) the rest of my air rifle inventory as obsolete.

Hey Scott, what goodies are you unloading??
Any details about your new rifle? Rifle or bullpup?

I got first blood yesterday. Friggin' gopher got his hair parted. Along with its brains. It was a tough shot - having take it out from a good 6 yards away wink

As for unloading:

1) RWS 48. Hasn't even had a full tin of pellets through it, as it was just the anti-avian pest gun until a Marauder came along. Comes with the actual RWS mount. It's in very good condition save for missing the rear sight. This is an older gun, with the T01 trigger. While it did shoot the JSB 8.8s a little bit tighter than the JSB 10.3s, those looking for a little more punch wouldn't be missing many head shots within 25 yards if they used the heavier pellets.

2) .177 Marauder. 1st generation with wood stock, with lawyer spring removed so it too has a quite nice trigger pull. Also shoots JSB 8.8s and 10.3s quite well. I'd call this a 50 yard gun. Pellet spiraling just made grouping go completely wonky after 75 yards or so.

There's also a .25 Marauder 1st gen. that shoots very well - Green Mountain barrel. But it's currently sick, needing to be re-sealed. When that's done, I'll part with it as well.
