And of course, the moronic amongst us start cooking up "commie bioweapon" conspiracy theories because they're too damned stupid or lazy to go look for the source. When in actuality it's almost certainly a case of human error on the part of the Wuhan virologists studying the virus. And so states in the very, very short paper.

I posted this back in February. Similar assumption; simple carelessness caused this, different conclusion: it was an engineered virus.

I didn’t know a piece of viral genome conferring an ability to be really good at attaching to human cells had been patented, seems logical someone working with viruses, even for good purposes, would make use of that.

Supposedly the "Spanish" Flu first appeared on Fort Riley, Kansas after some soldiers burned tons of manure. I guess the "Kansas Flu" didn't have a good ring to it.

Spain got the name and the blame. But, all they did was suffer with the disease and were apparently the first to report it in their newspapers. IIRC from lectures past.

I'll have to dig further, but three things from the article jump out immediately:

1) I question zerohedge's ability to not publish a sensational article

2) The Epoch Times impartiality (one of the quoted sources in the ZH article)

3) The impartiality of NTD (another of the ZH sources)

NTD and The Epoch Times are Falun Gong mouthpieces and would take any opportunity to poke a thumb in the eye of the CCP (though not without good reason - organ harvesting is a thing). And as such, I will draw my own conclusions from the facts that they present.

No need for the CCP to wait for Shi Zhengli to publish her paper in January this year. Very similar work had been done years prior.

I believe the odds are greater than that. There is no doubt in my mind that the corona virus outbreak is the result of Chinese germ warfare, either accidentally, or intentionally.
