I have to second the Weatherby Ultralight. I have one in .308 and it is sweet! Super light and fast handling. She kicks a little but that's the tradeoff on a 6 lb rifle.

Thanks for the info. For your 7WSM are you using a large rifle primer or a magnum primer? With the Winchester data, they recommend using a large rifle primer with WXR or W760, however Hornady data uses a magnum primer for the same powder. Since I have yet to reload for the 300 WSM, I am looking for some direction!

I did consider it, but didn't like the calibres it comes in. A friend of mine has just ordered a Rem Tit. in 7mm-08. It will be nice to compare the rifle to the A bolt stainless for accuracy and reliability. If I like the titanium, I'll make it my next rifle. There is no question that the titanium is the lightest production rifle on the market (that I know of).

I use mostly the 1000 Fed. 215 mag primers I bought for this project unless I use Varget for light bullets. Varget and W760 have worked better in the short mags than I would have expected. I would use the mag primer with W760 for sure. The new MagPro and even Retumbo seem to work well in most rifles. RL-19, 22, 25 are good also if you can fiqure the speed of your lot. All the 4350's seem to be accurate if you match the load to bullet and gun. BM
