Sorry men, it will take more than I've read here to turn me against Grassley. Where did Grassley's investigation of Fast and Furious go? What is the status on that? But what teeth did he have to prosecute? Hold E. Holder in Contempt? What has ever come of these “investigations “ other than to possibly turn the light on for the viewing public ?

I have a TON of respect for Grassley. You folks would be living in a socialist hell and the Supreme Court would be loaded with leftists if it wasn't for Charles. I like to watch his every move something like what the stock market folks do with Warren Buffet. I get Charles point. Can't Mr. Trump have a conversation with the folks he fires about their behavior and what he wants to see happen instead of just firing someone on a Friday night?? That is real bullshit right there. No, Grassley is not a swamp creature or showing his “true colors”. He is almost universally respected; he is a Iowa farmer, a stalwart man of honesty and unwavering character; however I do wonder about senators and Supreme Court justices being in office too long.
Grassley hasn't done crap for the farmers and even less for the cattlemen in the US of A. What do you want him to do, besides just making them walk to the mailbox at 10 AM? GMAF break. Coming from a farming family. Cattle farmers no less. Of course I remember when there were no guarantees; the bitchers now have them, yet they still cant get enough of other peoples money. If your expecting guarantees from an elected official, get in line you POS... Hey dick, I'm against all subsidies, cost share and all other farm welfare. Grassely and the other politicians are against the farmer who can do it on their own, they represent big business. I want to be able to process and sell some of my beef to the general public.....by the pound. The government needs to get the F out of the way and let those who can farm, farm and the others who can't go belly up. I have the right to buy and sell anything that I see fit, without government intrusion.

Atkinson's firing is classic Trump being Trump. That whole whistle blower thing was Bullschit. I agree with Trump's decision. I really don't care what Grassley thinks about it. Like it or not. Trump is the big dog. It would be nice if the Republicans would all stick together. Even the Democrats can at least do that. Right or wrong, they are all on the same page.

The only reason the Congress will not vote for term limits is it would curtail their ability to enrich themselves and their families and friends. The only reason! Other than that, it makes complete sense. Why limit the President to only two terms?
