Thanks, RS D2, tapered tang, stabilized bog oak and red liners. I asked for a 68 skinner blade with a 45 handle. He drew it up and called it a 93. The sketch showed a 3 1/2” blade and 4 1/4” handle. I ordered 3 knives and will post some pics when they get here. I can take better measurements to if you need them. I sure like the way it came together

That's a cool knife! I'm looking at it and thinking that blade appeals to me and then I see that the pattern (to me at least) is reminiscent of the older Marbles Skinners. Very nice.

I really like that winston. How did you come up with those scales? Was it something that you wanted specifically or was it something he suggested?

I saw a pic of a knife online with bog wood and liked the look. It’s kind of unique to use something submerged for a couple thousand years and has been carbon dated. I bought those scales from Arizona ironwood and mailed them to him. David will have some various wood scales on hand but will gladly use something you furnish https://arizonaironwood.com/t/SPECIES

Here’s some Dan, the ol Russell Green I bought over 35 years ago at darigold farm store here in Chehalis.
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
