Pretty racy name for that time frame 😁 Fleming, being a Brit was being schoolboy naughty with the name, as "Pussy" is used (was used) in GB either the term for a cat or a wimp. "Fanny" is the Brit slang = to "Pussy" and not to be used in polite company. Here we use 'fanny" = "butt" or "rump" Remember calling those things people strapped around the waist "Fanny packs"? Getsome strange looks from the Brits on that one.
