I have never been made aware that a President could remove a sitting Senator. As much as I'd like to believe this, I remain skeptical. Obama would have removed quite a few if so.

That's what I'm thinking, just to remove the GOP majority if for no other reason.

He made threats that implied violence. There's a local radio show host that wants Chuck to be "red flagged" for that kind of behavior. That's what would happen if a conservative had shown that sort of attitude publicly. But don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.
