OP Jonnymac Campfire Regular Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 743 Pennsylvania	I have two brand new Howa Alpine stocks that I bought from Trop Gun Shop once Howa discontinued the Alpine. I had plans of using them for rifle builds but I haven't got to them yet so I'm putting them up for sale. Looking for $350 shipped to the continental US each. If you want both we will call it $675.

Another forum member has identified/ informed me that these stocks were formed with howas with the light barrels (#1 contour) and unfortunately my 1st gen 1500 howa that i envisioned utilizing this stock with has a standard #2 (Vanguard) contour barrel. I cringe at the thought of botching a really nice stock to fit my barrel. Therefore, unless I've been misinformed (I don't think I have been), I can't use it...... "unless" I aquire a newer light barreled short action that needs a really cool stock... Again thanks, and be safe, sawdustin NRA Life Member
