There is a difference in made vs assembled. The scope tubes/erector assemblies are no longer made here. The US made scopes have a “made in the USA” on the top of the tube in front of the elevation turret.

Copy. Reread your earlier post. So the parts for the nxs compact were made in the US and they were assembled here until about 6 years ago. Now, parts from elsewhere; assembled here. Thanks!
