Any markings in the left side rail of the action? If the bore is good, these are still good shooters, better than many would expect. Last edited by hackleback; 04/07/20.

It's an interesting combo with the turn-down bolt, but it's marked 24/47 on the side of the receiver. Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

However no new numbers were struck. The bent bolt is probably an arsenal fit, but I've never seen a military Mauser with a checkered bolt. Still, it's a very nice rifle. It's rare enough having the bent bolt, but having the bolt handle checkered sounds like it's really rare. Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
