A Benchmade Bugout in CPM S30V re-treated to HRC 61 in Rockscale Design Titanium Scales
My old faithful Sebenza in BG-42

All work fine for what I do...which is a hell of a lot...

Forgot a Buck 112 Special Edition CPM S30V Drop Point G10 Scales that I used on a hog cull that was FANTASTIC!!!

I usually alternate between a Delica in VG10, a ZT 0770 in Elmax or a Spyderco Shaman in S30V, depending on where I'm going and if I have a gun on me. I'm really tempted to buy the new ZT 0357 in 20CV. I'm just having trouble getting warmed up to the stonewash finish on the blade.

Good point. I just ordered one from DLT.

Maybe not the most attractive of material but it is very functional. Also easy to replace if you want something different.

I think my ultimate EDC folder would be if Spyderco made a smaller Shaman (3.25-3.35") in M390/CTS204P/CPM20CV with a slightly smaller diameter (proportionate) handle. Sorta like the Endela is halfway between the Delica and Endura, this would be halfway between a Shaman and a Native 5.

Been carrying a Stretch-2 VG10 for 4 or 5 years. Love it.
Very easy to get super sharp, holds it decent, keeps a useable edge longer.
Mine is a drop point and black. Paid maybe $70 for it, no regrets.

And $70 is about right for that combination of lock mechanism, blade steel and handle material.

I went with a brown Delica in VG10 with flat ground blade as it is available locally and has a slightly smaller size, I wanted one to carry in my brown work pants whilst at work, but also small enough to not be a bother when sitting in a work vehicle.

Good choice. I carry a Delica or a Native 5 pretty often. They’re lightweight, well made knives that just work. The VG10 and s35vn Spyderco uses are both good.

Ive been carrying Delicas for years. Does about everything I need for an EDC. No issues gutting/skinning when needed as well.

On my second one now, my wife bought me a 3rd for Christmas. I cannot keep the pocket clips on them very long though.

That Stretch looks very interesting, might have to try one of those too.

I like the Benchmade Osborne 940-2. Their Reverse Tanto blade in S30V is a very useful and strong design. It's not their newest knife but has stood the test of time.

I used it at work for a couple of months and lost it a week ago when using a chainsaw to remove some small trees at one of the town pumps on the river...I have to say that I do not miss it one little bit.

I have just ordered a Spyderco FRN Chaparral as a replacement, I went with this as it rides lower in the pocket and has a smaller print in the pocket.

Pity I couldn't get one in blaze orange or hot pink so that I can find it when I lose it too.

Disassemble it and paint the FRN handles whatever color you want...

Spyderco Stretch is an awfully good EDC blade. I have several. Today, I was carrying one in Super Blue/420J1 laminated steel.

Early summer I purchased my first Spyderco, a Native 5 FRN with a CPM S30V blade. It's been in my pocket everyday and as you'd figure used multiple times a day. Very pleased with this knife.

Update on new knife.

It arrived today and so far I am well pleased with it, definitely sits lower in pocket and is slim and comfortable to carry. It opens and closes with no problems with either left or right hand, and the wire clip is stronger than the spring clip on the Delica.
