Just finished this cute little EDC that has stabilized satin finish walnut. I got the walnut from the mountains of SC near our family farm and had it stabilized. She is made of CPM154 stainless and feels like she grew in your hand. I love this design...compact, comfortable, and she cuts well.

Thanks for looking!

When making a knife I do everything. Cut out the blade from bar stock, grind, heat treat, temper, finish, make the sheath, sharpen. I’m a one man show.

That blade is made by “stock removal”, not forging. I do, however, forge blades as well.

Does “stock removal” make a better knife than forging?

Depends on who you are talking to,
and materials used, maker, procedures and processes.

The forging guys end up doing stock removal.

And then there is.................

Not sure I am ready to try that yet. Although very nice knife! I sure like the contour. Right now I have only done handles made from wood I cut.
