Nice looking house, Barry. Envious of the Western motif and saddle.

I got a saddle as far as the shop/reloading room. My wife is OK with big game mounts, but was not too crazy about me dragging a saddle into the living quarters. frown

Huntsman22, evening, I can name almost all of your collection but can't tell what the copper or brass canister thing is by the crate??? That right there is a mans house or room !!! It looks like my kitchen when I lived on 36 acres. Or Dads living room before he past. Great decor man. Have a good weekend guys. Bill out. 🐾👣🐾👣🇨🇦

gwp, it's just a brass based copper pot with an extended neck and pour spout. Was my great grandma's. Have no clue what she used it for other than heating laundry water, as I also have her washboards.

Nice digs, Barry!

I'd like to know how you fellers get your saddles purty enough to be inside!!

I just blew the dust off mine with my air compressor hose...

Don't tell my wifey to look at the underside of the saddle blanket though. wink

That is sharp. The "rusticness" of all of the wood is really nice.

Beautiful home you built there rockinbbar! The decor sure is inviting.

The pictures of everyones collections are impressive.

Round Oak, sure like your repurposing of that milk can as a saddle stand for that handsome Wade (I think).

And lastly, if I could link a song for us Charlie Russell fans and I can't, I'd share a favorite of mine from Will Dudley, "The Gift", off of Colorado Horses 2003.

I haven’t been down here in awhile. The house is great.

I got to keep my saddle in the house...once...for one night...the day after it showed up brand new in the box 😀

The humidity down here will rot leather PDQ if left out in the barn/tackroom.

Had to pay to get new wools put on my old Big Bend Saddlery saddle before. (Those saddles are so expensive, and expensive to have fixed right, that I started hunting a corner in the climate controlled house.) wink
