VarmintGuy;
THANKS for posting the link!
Got some shopping to do now.
FIRST thing, is to order a Ruger MK IV Lite, then find a TruGlo Tru.Brite
And, get a Voplquartson trigger kit.
Thanks again!

Went to the gunshop, and ordered a new Ruger MKIV Lite this AM.
Ended up getting the MK IV 22-45 Lite 22LR in Black Diamond Gray Anodized Aluminum.
It's got a threaded barrel, so now All I "NEED" is for my Suppressor to be released to me.
The dealer said it might be two weeks until it gets here since things are moving slowly right now.
Also bought a Sight Mark red dot, The truglo was back ordered for (at least!) 18 weeks!
Besides, I didn't really want to buy Chinese goods!
Now I've got something else to look forward to!

I'm like a little boy WAITING on Christmas!
"Time just keeps DRAGGING ON!"
The NEXT thing, after getting it in my hot little hands, is a trigger job. Maybe a Volquartson "Kit"
Gives me something to think about besides this darn Chinese flu.

Got my MK IV 22-45 Lite yesterday.
First shot at 30 yards went to the center of a 1" dot, Without sighting in!
Then shot two five shot groups of just over 2" at 30 yards.
After that my sight Mark red dot gave out on me.
Heading back to the shop today.
At least, I know this little pistol shoots reasonably well.
I'm sure it will do even better after a little trigger work.

My dealer put a new battery in my Sight Mark.
It worked good for a few minuets, then died again!
Back to the shop this AM to get something to replace this sight....

Virgil B. I just read this thread and was going to caution you on the Sightmark. It is, by far, the worst optics available. We quit carrying them because their failure rate was over 50%.

Replaced the Sight Mark with a Burris FF II
$179. So, I just had to give $50. over the price of the Sight Mark, that they refunded me.
Now, IF it would just stop raining, so I can go out and shoot it!
UPhiker;
Thanks for the information. Oh well, at least they gave me my money back.
So, far, I'm liking the Burris. It has an easy to operate on/off switch.
Can't WAIT to give it a test fire!

My wife took her concealed carry class with my old Buckmark that had a FastFire II on it. She could shoot that gun well but when it was time to qualify, she could not get that switch to move. She saw how demanding the course of fire was and just shot it without the dot turned on, passing with flying colors.
As soon as she got home she was showing me the switch was broke but it worked fine then and thereafter. They are good sights.

Thanks for the feedback on the FastFire ll
Glad I went ahead and bought a quality sight.
Now, IF this darn rain would let up!
Gotta get this thing sighted in, so I can "protect" my bird feeder from "robbers"

Got my FF II sighted in.
The kid who mounted it, just finger tightened the side screw, so i chased POI around until if figured it out.
Shot two, five shot groups at 30 yards, and got 1-3/8" and 1-5/8"
Am liking this 4 MOA dot better than the 5 MOA of my other sight.
Been shooting CCI target standard velocity ammo. Seems to be working good through this new MK IV
