GUNS Magazine PDF files

Thought that many of you would find this interesting. Good reading from the golden age of gun magazines.

When I was a young teenager in the early '60's the guy who ran the LGS used to sell GUNS magazine; had a rack of them on the counter.

Yep, during that era GUNS had something for everybody, and some fine writers! I even have some paper copies from the era.

I still have severa of thosel “Guns” magazines. It’s fun to see prices for guns, etc at the time.

I can't believe it. No articles on ARs or Glocks in the 1950s. How did gun magazines sell back then?
Looks like lots of cool stuff to read though. Thanks for posting.

I checked out October 57 for kicks since that’s when I was born. 03 Springfields @$39.95 in excellent condition. Lugers @ $45. Elmer had a great article on his 44mag, killing 30 range bulls for load testing.

Love those days. Thanks for posting

Just read a couple articles from 1960, kind of like a “way-back machine”. Thanks for posting the link.

Kinda liked the Nosler Zipedo on pg 60 of Jan 1970!

Looks sort of familiar...

Super cool..... Thanks for posting. Just spent a half hour perusing some of that. Gonna go back later and read more. Late 1950's early 1960's was when I started reading that stuff at the home of two of my older cousins. I was about 9 years old when I fell in love with those fancy, high gloss, high comb, inlaid stock Weatherby models.
