Looks great Splattermatic! Now that you know what you're doing you'll find more projects or used rifles that "need some love" and brought back to life.

A little touch up on the bolt is still needed, but it's finished how I want it.

I have to say guys, that if you want to do a Duracoat finish on your guns, its super easy, but in my case, time consuming.
My 7 mag is finished to my satisfaction, and what I wanted to do.
The semi gloss, HK black, looks like a great match to Talley's, and the SS 10X.
Now to let both rifles sit for some time to finish curing, and go sight them in. The 06, should still be, since I didn't take the scope off.
Last pic of the finished bolt.

Very nice rifle all-around! I just did an AR lower that I worked up from 80%....just solid OD with the aerosol can. Not sure I'm ready to move on to anything more sophisticated than that though.

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.
