Anyone here ever try or hear of anyone trying to propagate Ramps any place other than E. TN?
Do they exist in comparable biomes/ in the other states in the area?

Oh, heck yes !!!
I think ramps is the state tree in West Virginia. 😁
Far as I know, they'll grow about anywhere that has favorable conditions..........similar to what you have in east TN.
Tank a few out where you are and stick em in where you want em. They'll most likely grow. Yep.

LouisB---- Sorry --I'll work on the photo thing--- I'm not really much of a Tech person on the Computer thing. The ramps are all natural. Large Patches of ramps like this on my property. Acres of them. Just realized what they were this spring. I learned about them from a Vietnam Vets wife at a Guntruck reunion in Pigeon Forge. Another good friend Fellow Guntrucker lived in Rogersville Tenn. RIP Sammy. Tenn. a beautiful state. Thanks Web

They're around in Western VA as well. That's one food that breathes back out through the skin of the person who ate it! Can't hide Ramps in your diet LOL.

Explanation of what is in the pic is enough. A coworker from E. TN said people get to smelling pretty strong during Ramp season!

Bruce---- Fort Ti--- nice place to see --- North end of George is the the best end---I spend time at a camp down near Baldwin. across from Prisoners Island. I've read that ramps end about sometime in June---- A week here of hot weather might speed things up. --Web

Maggie Valley NC, and mt Rogers Va. Eat a mess of ramps in the spring and you won't have a cold all year long.

Old lady neighbor canned them. Really made them mild and tender. She made casserole with canned ramps, potatoes, country ham and sharp cheddar. I ate half a 9"x13" pan one night. A lot of people paid dearly for that.
