Here is the smaller spool (35m).

I ordered some to try; $11 shipped. Thanks for the recommendation.

You owe me $11.

I ordered some from ebay. I like the idea of refilling the spool less often. It seems like it always runs out when I'm about halfway done

Perfect, I gotta see if they make it in 4mm variety. Got me one of those walk behind trimmers that uses precut pieces of line, and it chews through the factory ones in a matter of minutes! Cuts like hell but it's going to be rather useless if I can't get the line to last longer than that.

Tag, I hate messing with cheap line that breaks off just inside the head. I need this line and maybe a better head than the self feeding pos I always have to take off and get restarted.

Better stock up, as quality products typically go out of production.

It is hard to find. Lowes doesn't sell it. Because if you bought a spool of this stuff at Lowes, you wouldn't be back for about 10 years. It is at least three times better than the orange stuff they sell at Lowes.
I call it Copperhead, but you have to look it up under Rotary Vortex Professional .095 70.1m. That is, more than 70 meters of string. Gonna last a long time. Hard to find on Amazon I could only find a huge spool that cost $47. I don't need that much line.

I don't know why that link won't come up but it is on ebay for $17.50

We use the Vortex line at work, it seems to work okay with no issues in Stihl trimmers.

Not sure I would wax lyrical about it though.
