I just called CA, and talked to them about the new LH line. They said they'll add more calibers depening on how the announced calibers do. I was inquiring about the 300 RUM, as it's my go to for elk, and they said no plans as of yet. I was kinda surprised that they went with the 300 PRC instead. That seems like a fad caliber, but who knows?

I also asked them about if they have a custom shop. They said as of now, they do not. They are hoping to open one up in the near future, when they catch up on production.

For my application, I have no use for any of the 4 calibers listed above.

I have been wanting to play with the 6.5prc so I could see one of those in my future if the price is right! Plus it’s the only option I know of for us lefties in some of these new cartridges

Of the 4, that is the only one I would have an interest in.

+1 ... I know this is old school. But, now that they have a Left Hand Long Action, how about bread and butter .270 and .30-06 ?

Both calibers are standard Ridgeline offerings but the website gives no indication they are available in a LH configuration.

I wonder how hard it would be to convert a 6.5 PRC to 6.5 Rem Mag? CA seems real big on the trendy calibers. The 300WM would be my only choice with the new introductions.

It would be interesting to hear their comments on that question.

I was super excited to see the email from CA today announcing new left handed calibers, I was hoping it was going to be standard long action calibers. Kind of bummed to see it's only those 4, based on magnum bolt faces.

The barrel would need to be set back but not much around 0.15". But the question is why? I guess I already know, just because.

I’m interested in the 6.5prc.

On my iPhone or I’d look.

They do the 6.5PRC in 22” or 24”?

Dollar to a dozen donuts.

Eurooptics will have the first on the shelve.

They had the only 6.5cm i could find when they first came out.

I think it would be a fun project. Already have a 350 rem mag, might as well get it a sibling.

Probably gonna take a re-barrel. The body of the PRC case is the diameter of the belt on the 6.5 Rem (minus a little taper) all the way to the shoulder. Unless you can set the barrel back a couple of inches, a re-chamber ain't gonna happen.

Please correct me if I’m wrong but my understanding is the muzzle break simply unscrews by hand. I believe they include a thread protector as well In the box

My understanding as well... Ridgeline is 5/8"x24tpi which would work for me due to not needing an adapter for my current suppressor.
