Fyi, if the LOP is too long you can send it to Melvin to shorten for cheaper than you would expect. Since he cuts the stock, repainting is part of deal and he will paint to any color, which will hide the existing wear.

I saw this right after the OP started it......I thought about it for a second or two but since I have a 300WSM ULA I decided against it. If it was a 30-06, It'd have been heading my way. Great score NTO.

As several have already said, great snag!
The very first NULA (actually an ULA) I ever shot was a .300 Winchester Magnum, back in 1989. After working up loads with the 165 Hornady Interlock Spire Point, 180 Speer Grand Slam, and 200 Nosler Partition, I shot three rounds of each at the same target. All nine went into just about an inch.

Yeah I have a CLR rebuilt by Melvin in 300 wm that’s a shooter actually picked this one up for my mom she is a lefty and it can go with her other 2. You can say we have many of these in the family about 30 ULA, NULA, rebuilt CLR & Forbes.
