I already have lots of SS rifle in fiberglass. This one is going to be olde school.

Much better than ceramics etc. Regardless, that's a real beauty you have going there. What fresh Hell is this?

Much better than ceramics etc. I had a nitrade finish on a 375magnum a few yrs ago and liked it a lot. I'd be surprised if this builder does that finish. He's pretty old school. Did some of his apprentice with Martini.

Maybe he saw the finished rifle and just passed out. Your smith may have used a tung oil/urethane prep that Brownells sells. I’ve read that some top stock makers like it. I know I do. DF
