I’ve got a Cowboy bud that used to rope feral hogs. He stopped after a big boar jerked his best roping horse to the ground and damn near got him.

It amazes me that the Average Life Expectancy in Mexico is still 75 yo, just three years behind the US, and that likely due to the high prevalence of Adult Type 2 diabetes in Indians and Hispanics.
Most people there still survive a whole friggin' lifetime, in settings it would terrify most of us here to live in.
