I do sense that the base is angry about the lack of inaction
but I remember that these men were not allies of Trump until he won the election. Then they decided it was prudent to support him out of self interest.

McConnel is part of the resistance as much if not more than Burr. Remember , it’s McConnel that has kept the Senate in almost continuous session to prevent Trump from using recess appointments to get his people in position to take control of the government from the resistance. McConnel uses his position as majority leader to make sure no real Trumpist are confirmed to any meaningful position such as Attorney General. Only those loyal to the establishment are confirmed. Moving Grenell from a meaningless confirmed ambassador position to DNI is what has blown open the floodgates of information about the coup. If real patriots like Grenell had been confirmed to Attorney General , FBI Director , CIA , and NSA the coup would have been over before it really got started and dozens of traitors would be rotting in prison right now. When we hang the traitors to our nation McConnel needs to be one of the first.

Keeping the Senate in continuous session was not just McConnell. This procedure requires a unanimous vote of all 100 Senators. All it takes is one (1) Patriotic US Senator to vote against this proposal, just one (1), but instead every one of the 100 Establishment POS Senators voted against President Trump and his supporters.
