I fired less then a box through the rifle.Everything works as it should and seemed to be very accurate with Hornady 178ELDx ammo.Trigger is fantastic at 2.5 pounds.It is as nice as any Timney I have used.The rifle has 20" threaded #5 free floated barrel with a light soft touch stock.It weighs 7.3 pounds bare naked.The only reason I am selling some of my guns is because the cost of fertilizer and lime went sky high and I need to start planting.Has the box and all paperwork.$600.00 shipped insured to a FFL from a nonFFL in the CONTUS.First unconditional I will take it followed up by a PM is the buyer.Please PM me with any questions or comments.Thanks for looking Huntz

Solid rifle for that money. The Bergara action tops the 700 in my book, for features and "slick-ness".

What kind of bases do Bergara rifles use? I mean, same as Rem 700, etc?

Bergara's entry line (B-14 series) including the ridge take Rem 700 bases. I've got 2 ridge's and they are both shooters!
