Winchester .410 "cyl" is usually 0.000 to 0.001.

My .410 42 "skeet"s range from 0.003" to 0.011". FWIW, the postwar guns tend toward the tighter end of the range. But my postwars also have greater bored IDs. So.....

The "mod"s fall between 0.005" and 0.008".

The "full" guns have been between 0.014" and 0.020". HTH.

back in my day they called the 42 the idiot stick.
didn't matter, I wanted one. well I got one. had it for 4 years. sold it.
felt like I was holding a toothpick in my hands after shooting m12's. it thru my memory reflex off. I was over swinging, jerking, flinching, you name it. it drove me nuts. away it went. made good coin on it.
I know I know....its a gun youre suppose to relax with and just pull the trigger. i tried.
fyi, watch the ejector plate. or is it the mag tube shell catch? cant remember. its made of sheet metal from the factory and very fragile. you can break it taking it down.
seems everyone has their fill of them these days. many are just sitting on auction and in ads.
if you want one...nows the time. but don't expect guys to take a bad loss.
good luck.

A guy I used to dove hunt with used to bring a 410 Italian Perazzi O/U to some of our hunts. I did most of my shooting at the time with a Citori 20 O/U. He handed me his gun and asked me if I wanted to try it. I said "Sure". A speed demon bombed the field, I swung on it and when the gun cracked it folded. He asked me to try it again, I said "Nope" and I handed the gun back to him.

Still batting 1000 on dove with the 410. laugh

Very nice gun Sqweeler.
