Kicking around possibly selling, reluctantly, as interests and factors in life change.Trying to gauge which to sell if not both for other firearms of interest. Not a shotgun expert and gunbroker can be over priced so any assistance is appreciated.

1) Browning Citori Feather Lighting 20 gauge GR 1 3" chamber 28" barrels. Bought new and has been out hunting 2 times total so excellent condition

2) Ruger Red Label 28 gauge 28" barrels. Bought used but obviously not a lot. I've used it myself maybe 8 times hunting afield.

Look at the actual sold prices, not the asking prices on GB. That will give you a pretty fair idea of what's a fair ask.

I sold the same Ruger a year ago and have noticed there is a real interest in that gun. That said, the economy isn't going to be your friend right now. You might want to wait until closer to fall. The advice from Remington 40x was spot on. I always check SOLD guns on GB to see how they actually did. Good luck if you sell. You have nice guns.

Based on prices around here these days and I'm not sure much is really selling, I would expect the Browning to go for around $1200 plus but would do better closer to hunting season. As was noted, there is both hunting and target shooting interest in the 28 ga Ruger Red Labels so depending on the model it could be $1400 up. Of course, the price and how quickly it sells is dependent upon the condition and the grade/quality of the wood. If you sell the Ruger, I hope you list it here because I would be interested in one of those. Good luck.

Thank you for the advice on where to look. Honestly never thought to check past listings sold prices.

Yes, I'd list them here. I've had some inquiries about them and I've saved them. I also need to talk to my son make sure either isn't something he really wants to keep. I don't sell a lot (tend to just buy more) but if I do it's to replace with another firearm. Kinda my inheritance nest egg for him one day that I also get to enjoy today.
