Anyone have any experience with this scope? I'm thinking about putting one on a 10/22 target model rifle. The gun is used only for range work and some informal plinking. This would be my first Athlon scope. I'm also somewhat concerned about warranty/service from Athlon since this gun has managed to break the reticle on two different Leupold scopes. Hopefully that won't happen anymore since I learned about changing the recoil buffer from the factory steel to a polymer version. Presently the gun wears a Leupold M8-4x scope. My plan is to put that scope on a Marlin 39D rifle so I need a new scope for the Ruger.

I have one on a RAR 22 and it’s quite impressive for the price. The glass is much better than expected, adjustments do what they’re supposed to, and the bdc works. My 7yo loves it on little gongs out to 100.
