Always eager to read the next issue! Love the variety and content.

Off topic, I saw a thread some where you mentioned pre-orders for GG3 and Loads that Work (?) but don't recall what thread. Can you put me down for one of each?

Thanks

Good stuff as usual. Since I'm a cookieholic I can't wait to try Eileen's Farmhouse cookie recipe.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

I just checked the lists. You were down for GG3, but not Handloads That Work. Now you are. Thanks!

Just finished RLN, as always, enjoyable. Really liked the “ Being Ready for Dangerous Game” piece. Being an old “Walter Mitty” type guy this kind of article is what I Always read first. The closest I came to charging game was picking up last springs turkey when it was’t quite dead. I was “using enough gun“, ...but it was leaning against a tree. Managed to survive, somewhat worse for wear.
Reading it makes me want a 373 H&H, just because. grin
My only complaint is it was only 13 pages. Seemed shorter than usual. Does that mean there will be a May and a half issue?

SS336,

Glad you enjoyed it!

But I suspect you thought it was a little shorter than usual because the dangerous-game article was pretty long--resulting in fewer articles overall.

Checked on the length of the last several issues and they ran from 12-14 pages, with the average 13.

Loved it 100 % especially the dangerous game piece. whenever I load a batch of ammo I always run them through the gun just to be sure. It's easy insurance vs a foul up on an expensive hunt or a missed follow up shot.

I'm going to have to try my hand at cooking as the recipes sound delicious. I'll wait for grouse camp in Michigans Upper Peninsula that way when I screw it up no one will know.

How about a piece on single shot rifles? There my newest affliction smile

Dude! Is there anything you're not good at? You make this whole place worth coming to. I'm loving this place and a good bit of the reason is you. Other Forums are like... ~Yawn~....compared to the fire.

Indeed!

But my favorite has always been Norm's comment, when Eileen back from a hunt with a pockeful of elk poop: "You're getting pretty %&^$ woodsy!"

Not exactly sure why, but haven't been a subscriber to Rifle Looney News. Fixed that this morning. Good read on the dangerous game. Really like the piece on gophers. Haven't gone out to shoot gopher on purpose in many years. Need to arrange a gopher safari in the near future.

Glad you're liking it!

As noted earlier, a subscription also provides access to the issues since we started RLN a decade ago.
