I’m looking for a nice left handed .22 LR rifle. Does anyone know where I could find one at a decent price for my son? It would be a first gun.

Not sure of the savage 93 comes in 22lr lefty..
I’ve got a 17hmr LH. Great shooting gun. Maybe more than a young kid needs.
Lefty’s don’t have a lot to pick from.
I like the marlin 60. Fun gun to shoot. No mags to keep up with.

Yeah I have been looking at the savage 93’s. I have a .17 HMR savage m93 and I love it. I’m learning this the hard way about the lefty thing, which I’m left handed but I shoot right whereas he does everything left!!!!! I have been looking for a lefty CZ that would be ideal. I wish the ruger 10/22 with the mannlicher stock came in a left hand.

Savage model 64 might be a possibility. I have no experience with them but they make 2 left handed versions.

Currently on gunbroker there are a bunch of left hand savages ranging from the little rascal in left hand up to the stainless thumb hole laminated mark II in left hand. There is also a sprinkling of others in left hand(cz452, anshutz, browning t-bolt, cooper)
Tikka just announced they are making the T1x in left hand. It might be worth waiting for

LH CZ American .22lrI bought both of my southpaw boys a Savage Mark II. Certainly not up to CZ quality, but they have had a lot of fun with them.

Barney I saw that cz on gunbroker earlier today. I’m currently watching it. I like the savage mark II, I think that would be the best bang for the buck for his first gun. Then go from there if he enjoys it.

I've had a Savage for years....had the barrel cut down to 16"....CCI Standard Velocity it shoots dime size 5 shot groups at 50 yards...it has the safety put on the correct way not backwards like a CZ I sent down the road....at around $200 scratches and dents don't hirt as bad....
