I have a couple of questions on a Marlin 336 SC Waffletop 35 Rem.short tube that I just bought yesterday .

I would like to know what is the correct rear sight from the factory .A picture of one would be great .

I bought it with a Redfield peep sight installed, no rear sight ,front is complete with hood .

Gun dates with a "H" 4 digit serial # to 1951 .

Wood and metal real good no cracks ,great bore .

What is the estimated valve in good condition for a 69 year old gun .

Thanks for any thoughts in advance .

Look up similar guns on Gunbroker or Gunsinternational.
Or try Marlinowners.com

I've seen them going anywhere in the $500 - $700 range depending on condition and originality (no mods). PM me and I can send you a pic of an original rear sight as I have several on my bench.

Nice rifle. Not drilled would add some value. Not sure what it would fetch in your world. Might be $600 or a bit more here in Canada. An original Redfield is a nice item.
