One of the most significant, and yet least talked about, government Covid responses was to start emptying prisons and jails.

At the same time, LEO’s were given stand down orders for all but the worst offenses, and most arrests that did occur were catch, magistrate, and release without bond. Burglars were classified as low risk and turned loose and that is not a guess.

The average citizen then is faced with burglars knowing there is no consequence to their ill chosen career other than a homeowner with a gun.

And yet some of the very same governmental officials want to disarm citizens?

I told my wife and adult kids If I tell them to hold their ears I'm going to stop someone. I hope the ambulance can get here in time. We do have the castle doctrine in the state of Misery. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

I don't know that I'd call it consequence. That sounds so.., temporary.

Well, if they get by the punji pit, claymores and set guns it's OK. I got a lot of ammo that needs to be shot.

If you don't shoot it, you don't get to reload it. I really enjoy reloading.

I am..........disturbed.
