Made a trade for this gun.TP9 elite tactical---reviews are encouraging but I'll hold my opinion till I've had it for a while.Any one else shooting this?

One of my sons bought a whole “set”, three different sizes, all, IIRC 9mm, just because they were so cheap. I don’t know if he uses any for edc, but I know he was pleasantly surprised at how well they work..

They feel great in the hands, and those I've looked at had great triggers, too. They have gathered up a good reputation in the short time they've been for sale here.

I think they're a good gun, and probably would have one if I wasn't already invested in something else. Frankly, I like them better than the M&P I have.

One of the musicians in my Church has one. He has brought it to my range to shoot a few times and we've put about 800 round through it so far. Overall I have to say I was very impressed with it.

For the low cost of the pistol I was not expecting all that much, but it's done as well or better then other guns used by many of my other students that cost 2 to 4 times as much. No jams, excellent accuracy and easy to use. No complaints at all so far.

I have a TP9 SFx that impresses me every time I shoot it. Very nice trigger, very accurate shooting and eats anything I run through it. I would buy another Canik without hesitation.

Yes , elite and elite sc , will but both against anything in same class

I have 2 Caniks. Both full size guns. A TP9 sa and a TP9SFx both are great guns. Both have good triggers. They are very good values.

A buddy has one and is quite keen on it, though he's only put a few mags through it. I've not had the opportunity to shoot it yet.

They are quite fond of them over on the 'hide.

I've got a P365 coming. After I monkey with it a bit, I'll likely want a full size 9. Canik is on the list.

2 easy spring changes that will make the already pretty decent trigger great - install a 6 lb (extra power) Glock 9mm striker spring, and a stock Glock safety plunger spring.

The only other change I made to my TP9SFx was the recoil spring and guide rod, because the factory spring is too stiff, but Canik will send you a lighter spring unit if you ask them. I made my own rod and used an aftermarket Glock gen 3 recoil spring; try different weights but I went with 13 lb IIRC.

Also for sights, if you ever want to change them, the rear uses a Glock 43 sight and the front uses a S&W M&P sight.

I fondled a few Caniks in the local shops. They feel nice in the hand, and the triggers are half-way decent for a striker-fired pistol. No one had a TP9SFx in stock, so I ordered one from PSA. I'm looking forward to trying it out!
