I straight piped my 99 QC 4x4 24V, fired it up at 7:30 in the morning and headed out of neighborhood, two neighbors heard it and were dragging garbage cans to the street in pajamas...funny as hell they thought the sound of my Dodge was the trash truck.

I would be remiss if I didn’t also include the go cart and four-wheeler atv brats too. Go cart brat would fit nicely under my f250.

I could care less what other people do to their vehicles, I did plenty of stupid s h !t too but grew up and tired of much of it. The only part I disagree with is the fk'tard vandalizing the guys car. I can't stand muzzle brakes, especially on AR15's at the range with people who are plinking at the bench. As much as I hate that s h !t I have no right to walk over and dump a handful of sand in the open action.

The Corsa Extreme is one of the biggest offenders and I can't stand them because they are seriously loud under power.

The price starts at 1,688.00

I guess it depends on your idea of small. 35000 people, 10 square miles. I’ve hunted on ranches that we’re larger.

How about a highly tuned and modified Honda Civic?

Nothing like blood flowing out of your ears as a car hits a whopping 27mph.

I freely admit those rice rocket wannabes annoy me worse than a real American muscle car rumble.

The cops should spare no expense in finding the douche that did the foam job.

While loud mufflers may be an irritant, what that idiot did is criminal here and now.

If the back pressure screws up the engine as well, he could be looking at a 1st degree felony.

They have those in FL too?

I thought it might be a West Coast thing.

I'm gonna reserve judgement until I hear both sides of the story.

LOL

Messing with another person's property is pretty fugked up, but there are some major ass holes in this world.

OTOH, to intentionally jack with someones personal property, and that is probably a grand for the cat-back is criminal.

Surely a male with no balls, he needs a can of great stuff up his ass!

Agree, it kinda sucks for the dude who owns the "mufflers"

But, what should folks do. Grow huevos, find where the dude (woman?) gets their morning coffee, wait till they park, give them a thumbs up on the exhaust noise and the universal roll down the window sign,.............................................

then sucker punch the offender? With a weighted glove?

Neighbors.........................

reminds me of Misty's thread.

After 9 years on the flight line and 4000 hours flying time in C-130s I like quiet. I only find Harley riders annoying when they ride up and down the street but don't hit the road. I call the little 4 cylinders with the wings on the back and a trumpet bell on the end of the exhaust pipe Buzz Bombs.

Those people should be shot.

In the face.

Repeatedly.

Person rented the house @ the end of the block. He had a V-Twin bike of some manner. Our street is 1-block long and cut off @ both ends, he thought it was his own personal 1-block drag-strip. I had a short and pointed conversation with him that it wasn't. He'd then open the garage door and fire up the V-Twin @ midnight or later and just rev the heck outta it, but didn't race up and down the street anymore. Probably 6Mo later, I see my street on the evening news and find out that several folks had followed Mr. V-Twin home from the bar and beaten him with a bat and a tire-iron. Shortly thereafter, he didn't live on our street anymore.

I haven't really any problem w/loud exhaust, current neighbor of 18yrs has a pretty "throaty" Harley. I've got a 400HP small-block in a ~2800# car that's not what anyone would consider "quiet" but it's not obnoxious loud either. I "limp" that car through residential neighborhoods. I have 0 issues with folks who like to "open up" their performance machines, but, not in residential areas.

Valve-Stem tools are under-rated.
