Some of you guys need to watch the video again, and pay close attention. The guy is talking plain as day. The cops knee is not depressing anywhere near where the carotid artery could be compressed. As to the perp, all you can see is is head and a little shoulder(that would be his front shoulder for some). We have no idea how big the guy was, what drugs or other influences he may have been under or other violent tendencies leo were experiencing during the altercation. It appeared the other officer/s were giving him commands to which he would start struggling when the pressure was let off to allow him to get up. You can't see what the other officers were dealing with behind the car so no idea what the purp may have had in his hands. A lot you can't see or know and only a little of what you can.

Regardless of the actual cause of death, why would it be necessary to kneel on his neck that long? Gotta presume he's securely cuffed.

Go find a cop in the middle of a homicide and let us know.

The cop may have not liked what the guy did but it is not up to him to kill the guy for what pissed the cop off. Not being able to stomach what the guy did is just something you live with. It just comes with the badge.

I don't think you were listening to the dialogue throughout the video.

As far as the knee to neck, I've had it done to me 100s of times by people a little bigger than that cop. It doesn't asphyxiate you and it has never collapsed my carotid arteries.

Presumptions can get you killed.

I usually error on the side of the cop, self preservation and adrenaline. After several minutes though of the guy subdued, and eventually the guy is passed out and his body is completely limp, you would think the guy would just cuff him and put him in the car. He would have woke up about a couple minutes later with a headache and that's about it.

Teeth?

Spit?

The subject couldn't be put in the caged unit?

The fact that handcuffs don't immobilize everybody?

Hitting a handcuffed person is deemed a no-no?

Tasing a handcuffed person is deemed a no-no?

Four officers had to tend to crowd control because of all the nosy fugking SJW?

One officer has to use more force than four officers?

Just spit balling here of course. It probably was murder.

no expert but wouldn't that cut off blood flow to the brain and could end being fatal if done too long.

Isn't that the very reason the old "sleeper hold" has been illegal forever.

I'm pretty hard hearted but I couldn't stand to watch but a little of that. We were taught that we were to protect a prisoner once he was subdued. Another officer and I refused an order from a captain that was following us to jail once. We had a particularly unruly prisoner in cuffs and belted in. You know the type, whacked out on PCP. Lucky for me I had cuffed him before he really got riled and strong. After cuffing him he had bitten me and kicked 2 other agents as we were loading him for the 25 mile ride to town. About halfway there the captain radioed us and told us to pull off in the woods and put a stop to that sht. I told the other agent to speed up and do not stop. He would have been beaten to a pulp if we had stopped. Another time I had to drag one into the shade and cool him down. He had resisted after a hard run on a hot day and once cuffed was left out in the sun and was nearly dead from heat. I told the officer that took him down once you get him whipped and cuffed you do everything you can to help him.

I bet all 4 cops get their job back.

Love to see the final medical report on real cause of death. Most of you guys would have voted not guilty on the OJ verdict
