back last fall somebody threw out a cat that became mine by default. i wrote about it on a past thread. some of y'all might have seen it, or even responded.

she had a sore right front foot for a spell, and also a sore upper lip where she apparently hit the ground pretty hard in the crash or throw-away.

anyways, we first named her hidey-cat, then changed it to Heidi, and finally to Sheba, the Queen. she is a very elegant cat.

wabi person posted a pic of one of his black barn cats if i recall correctly. (true memory can be elusive).

anyways before we hardly knew it, she was pg. very pg. well, she's young she'll have one maybe.

as the Fates might have it, she bore 5, yes 5 count'em beautiful kittens. i like her lot's.

after we found a home for 2 and another home for 3, we took her to the vet.

the low-cost vet did his thing, shaved her belly. gave her a rabies shot.

we got medicine for an ear mite infection, fleas, and parasites.

.so now kittens are gone, mammary glands are swollen.

she's unhappy. been cut, prodded and treated.

and she can't go outside on the street - for 10 days.

what to do? the vet said no human type pain-killers for her.

she meows, talks, cries, complains, and i believe she is unhappy.

she does eat good. what is the name of the vocal cats? she might be kin??

we're not speaking of halloween here. my cat was very safe under my wings during last halloween.

she's a lover, not a fighter but does have competitive claws and fangs.

her mouth and lips are being trtd for a run-in with the gravel.

she's pretty much a $200 feral and worth it.

no more kittens for her though.

I'll think the cat will be fine Gus. The many cats we have on the farm should have estrogen in the cat food.

I like a cat that hunts, the Democrat cats that sit by the door waiting to be fed are not so good.

well there it is. explained in a nutshell.

my Sheba (previously Heidi, and hidey-cat) is a hunter.

she's brought lizards and chipmunks to her babies.

and also a squirrel. she's quite the protective mother.

she is just missing her babies, and telling us about it.

getting her belly all well, and all the parasites kilt off, and so forth.

she's knows how to talk, for sure in cat language of course.
