That could be the headline this week. If HRC were President, I'm sure the talking points would be how her actions have saved hundreds of thousands. Weren't 2 million Americans going to die from the virus by June?

Instead we get the talking point is that America is reaching a "Grim Milestone of 100,000 virus victims". Rush played an audio montage that must have had 8 or 10 talking heads from Sunday shows all using the same term "Grim milestone".

There is only one way ALL of them can be using the exact same description and that is that they got the FAX or text from the DNC for this week's talking points.

The other new talking points of the Left:

"Without universal mask wearing, the second wave will kill us all".

First it was going to be the immediate spike when we re-opened that killed us. Now the dreaded "second wave" will get us.

Now that everyone in Georgia is not dead 26 days after re-opening, the Left must come up with something new. Funny how the hospitals here are not overflowing with new virus victims and the predictions of peak death rates never happened in April and they never happened in May.

People are sick and tied of shelter in place, so now the emphasis will be:

Point #1 - wear masks or the 2nd wave will kill us all

Point #2 - this "grim milestone' is Trump's fault

Hey, I thought 1- 2 million would be dead by now. Seems to me Trump saved 900,000 lives. Had 2016 gone the other way, you can be assured that HRC doing exactly the same things as Trump would be credited with that headline.

Currently we are still in a shelter mode, but that gets changed to less stringent rules on Friday. I think that will kill it.

Never, ever will the Left or MSM acknowledge that for Trump. You can bet had HRC been at the helm, she'd be getting just that praise for exactly the same moves. At this point with all that we’ve “known” and then “un-known” this level of certainty seems rather dubious.

Why not be a bit more agnostic and say “...1-2 million COULD HAVE died.”?

The sustained certainty by many after the “experts” have been proven so wrong SO many times over is a bit disturbing to me.

First it was Russia, Russia, Russia.
Now it's Virus, Virus, Virus.

Living a life worth living is inherently full of unknowns and danger. Some deadlier than others. These people would complain about the Progressive Insurance Theme Park with the bumper car ride featuring only one car. Maybe the Traffic Jam ride that never moves?

I'm actually curious about how the virus is reacting in the southern hemisphere as it is now autumn, and winter is approaching.

On this one point you are mistaken--HRC would not have made Trump's moves.

Those numbers came from the bogus models that have proven wrong. They've run the numbers for Sweden, and predicted 100,000 dead by now. There are currently~4000 dead.

If the tally is actually accurate, which it isn't, I would believe the kung flu has taken 50,000. Maybe. And many of those might have been taken by other infectious diseases anyway, or maybe not, if kf hadn't arrived. Kung flu does seem to be more contagious than most, but who knows? At this point, with so many MSMreversals, revisions, and panic revving, I'm no longer believing anything at face value. We know this has all been politically and monetarily weaponized.

Notice how the rates for "regular" flu, TB, Bronchitus, etc have all plunged? MSM liars are attributing this to the social distancing, not the piling on.

I think there wil be a second wave, maybe a third, but the health care system - if they are on the ball - should now be prepared to handle it. We have given them the time to not be overwhemed. And the only way we are going to whip this thing into line is for more people to get it until we have developed the so called "herd immunity", which is not only denigrating, but will never kill the thing off entirely. It WILL mutate, as it has done so already, apparently several times.

Not to be too callus or cavalier about this, but we have lots of people, and only one economy. Studies are already (apparently - see above caveat) showing rising death rates from other things due to the lock-down, such as "elective" surgeries being put off.

While the kung flu has pointed up deficiencies in health care systems world-wide, and this MAY be a good thing for when a more serious viral or bacterial pandemic hits us - and it wil l- I suspect many critical thinking people, as well as the sheep just are not going to put up with another bs shut down run-through. And that will intensify the next pandemic casualties, at least initially.

I could be wrong. Society might now be Pavloved.
