For sale: Ruger stainless left hand Model 77 Hawkeye, .308 Win., with Green Mountain laminated factory stock. This is from the small batch of these that Ruger made in 2012. To the best of my knowledge they only made 40 of these give or take a couple.

This is a used but well cared for rifle. There are scuffs here and there on the metal finish, the worst being on the left side of the action where ejected cases spun back and hit it, but the stock is 99% at least with only one tiny compression dent near the forend tip that I can find. This has had a professional trigger job and the trigger breaks very cleanly at 2 3/4 - 2 7/8 lbs. It comes with the original box and all paperwork and includes #3 and #4 stainless Ruger rings, those are Ruger's low rings.

Price is $699 shipped. I'll be glad to answer any questions but first "I'll take it" gets it. No trades needed. Money order or other certified funds only.

Your FFL dealer must accept shipment from a private individual. As always, if you are not satisfied with this in any way you may return it in the same condition as received before making the FFL transfer and I would refund your money less the actual cost of shipping. Remember, once you transfer ownership, it's yours.

Also for sale is the custom stock I had made for this. It's a very nice piece of wood but the stockmaker screwed up the LOP and made it too short, then when I complained he added that huge black spacer. It's been glass bedded for this rifle. If you want the stock along with the rifle I'll sell it for $100 extra. Not for sale by itself until this rifle is sold.

So, the custom stock has been sold separately and is off the table.

Has the barrel been cut?

No, it's 22" as it came from the factory.

I was asked some dimensions of this.

Barrel is .570" OD at the muzzle, LOP is 13 1/2", weight is 7 lbs 2 oz as pictured and the magazine box on these short action Rugers is just a tad over 2.9".
