I saw an interview tonight on ABC News with a gal who runs a bar there. She said that the cop, and the dead Negro, both worked security at her bar at the same time. She said the cop was pretty good but sometimes, got a little out of hand, like when "he pepper sprayed the entire bar room for no good reason."
As someone said, any good street cop is going to have complaints lodged against him in this day and age.
ps. The gal's bar room was burned down last night.
ps2. How do you hire a guy for security who has a conviction for a home break in and armed robbery. This guy should have still been in prison in Texas.

White cop sounds like a stand up guy too, past complaints and all. Complaints against a cop who works in Mogadishu west ? Show me one who doesn’t have complaints and you’re pointing out a new hire right out of the academy. More than 12 in 19 years? Ya a great guy. hypocrisy is alive and well on the fire. Can you provide results of those complaint investigations idiot Funny coming from caldumb who lives in white supremacy land

P Agreed, Lots of people made mistakes in the past. Sounds like he may have really been trying to turn it around. It's what he did that day with those cops that will determine what kind of force was justified. From what I saw and what infos available I agree that he was killed unjustly. The percentage of cops that are sociopaths is pretty high compared to other professions. The way that cop acted looked sociopathic to me. He seemed completely oblivious to the victim and the people around him. Level of force looked unnecessary and seemed more like an intimidation or retribution tactic. Both sociopathic. If people want to burn their communities down over it I'd say just don't rebuild there. Then they can complain for years about not having good stores in their communities. Bb

The fight is over when the cuffs go on, that cop knelt on George’s neck way too long. I’m not saying for sure that’s what killed him but it did seem a little excessive from the outside looking in. And before any of y’all get your panties in a bunch, I’m sympathetic toward cops. I was one for a while.

a handful of people on social media are saying Chauvin and Floyd worked security together at a bar a few years back Chauvin did it for 17 years. Floyd did it for about one year and covered about a dozen events. He worked inside and Chauvin worked outside. Their employer isn't sure if they ever actually met. https://newsone.com/3950376/did-fired-cop-derek-chauvin-know-george-floyd/"According to KSTP.com, Floyd and Derek Chauvin once worked security at the El Nuevo Rodeo club on Lake Street, according to former owner Maya Santamaria. She owned the building for almost two decades then sold the venue over the past two months. “Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open,” Santamaria said. “They were working together at the same time, it’s just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside.” Despite the two overlapping with their work schedules on popular music nights within the last year, Santamaria said she can’t say for certain whether they knew each other because there were usually a couple dozen security guards, which included off-duty officers."

The Tox report hasn't been released so there may be drugs involved also. https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2020...-floyd-death-minneapolis-police-officer/An autopsy report is pending, but the Hennepin County Medical Examiner did release these findings: There were no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation, and that Floyd had underlying health problems, including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease.
According to the medical examiner, “the combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death,” the complaint states .

His family is suppose to be contracting the guy who use to be the Chief Medical Officer for the NYPD for doing autopsies...
I'd put stock in what he finds out... but I'll bet it will show he didn't sufficate...
I'd bet it was intoxicants he had in his system....
No way the cops would have known that...and if they had to subdue a large man, of course they are going to have to apply more force and leverage...
Even if the autopsy shows the cop wasn't responsible for Floyd's death, it aint' going to change anything.
