They used to talk about strict constructionist, and loose constructionist.

Now we are doing well if the lawmakers even know we have a Constitution .

To this point, jackmountain is making a lot of sense. State issues along with the consequences, and NO BAILOUT!

To everyone's question of "who will pay". The state tax payers where it's happening. No Federal intervention or economic bail out. Liberal policies need to be played out to the end once and for all. I pay for failed liberal policy every day in the city I own rental property. Property taxes 2nd highest in the state. It's why I choose to only buy property in the conservative county I reside in now. Conservative ran and fiscally responsible = more equitable tax rates = more development = more growth. City is going broke even with the higher taxes. [bleep] liberals.

This was added to the Posse Comitatus act in 2006. By declaring Antifa to be terrorist, it authorizes the use of the military to put down their riots. I'm not saying Trump should, but he can if necessary. This change came about as a response to 9/11.

The President may employ the armed forces ... to ... restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition ... the President determines that ... domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order ... or [to] suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such ... a condition ... so hinders the execution of the laws ... that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law ... or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws

You're dead on jack. Unfortunately, accountability is not a real popular message in these days. There's some sort of mental illness blinding politicians to the need for accountability. Maybe because they themsevles suffer no consequences for their poor policies and decisions.

Trump getting involved would be a critical mistake that will lose him the election. No good can come of it. He should instead, concentrate on publicising the stark contrast between liberal and conservative areas.

NO it didn't!!

They just changed tactics, and ramped up the domestic bombings. We had more domestic bombings, over 700 in 1973 just a few years later.

I'm all for bailing them out. So long as the bail out tied to a constitutional amendment authorizing citizens to shoot looters and arsonist.

It's not a mental disorder. It's called re-election. Put term limits on these pricks and maybe we could restore some integrity to at least the Republican party.

Jack mountain is spot on.

Although I do not agree with his idea of term limits.

Yes. This was the beginning of stricter regulations concerning the distribution, storage, and sale of black powder.

If you want a government even more dominated by the permanent bureaucracy institute term limits.

Many of us DON'T WANT to shut down the economy, restrict interstate travel, outlaw peaceful assembly and practice of religion, but DO WANT law enforcement to kick the schit out of unlawful riots.

If Andrew Jackson could live to be 300 years old, I should be able to keep him in office.
